Happy Dinosaur's Kickstarter is underway, here's how you can help!
A few months ago, Happy Dinosaur packed his little bags and went to the UConn Career Fair. Too small to be seen by security, Happy Dinosaur snuck into the Gampel Pavilion and fell down fifteen rows of bleachers to the court level of the arena. Eager to find someone to talk to, but wary of being stepped on by a resume wielding student, Happy Dinosaur found his way to the business and retail section of the fair. After a near miss with the heel side of a polished dress shoe, Happy Dinosaur climbed onto a red clothed booth and found himself face to face with two representatives from one of the largest US retail franchises. A healthy conversation on the business of happiness and its concern with dinosaurs led to some LinkedIn connections and a new branch to Happy Dinosaur’s Network.
A couple weeks later, Happy Dinosaur was reading some emails when a follow up from the career far knocked him off his desk. This email put an exclamation on Happy Dinosaur’s biggest barrier to growth: production capacity. The email detailed the number of units for a standard large scale wholesale account—a number insurmountable to Happy Dinosaur at that time. Knowing this issue would limit the company, Happy Dinosaur got to work…
Happy Dinosaur has just launched our Kickstater campaign! I am raising money to increase my stuffed animal production and expand the Happy Dinosaur team. My goal is to raise $3000 in preparation for the summer when Happy Dinosaur has its busiest season. Happy Dinosaur is excited to be featuring a collection of 50 Around The World Dinosaurs with the Kickstarter Campaign and brand new, exclusive Zine featuring a gallery of collaborations with artists from colleges across New England!
